Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some question we've answered to provide you additional information on LBBR, our classes, etc.
FAQ
What happens if a class day is canceled due to weather?
We will make up that session at the end of the 10 weeks.
Is there a recommended dress code?
Closed toe shoes are required for all participants. We recommend long pants as well as kids will be in some tall grass, mud, mulch, etc.
Do parents need to stay?
Yes, all sessions are parent/child and a parent/caregiver must supervise their child at all times to ensure they are behaving appropriately and respectfully at all times as this is a working farm.
Can we go inside the gates?
We ask all participants to stay in the designated areas and not venture through any gates or new areas as this is a working farm and we want to ensure the safety of all kiddos and animals.
What happens if it is raining?
Our program is rain or shine (as long as the weather is safe), we encourage you to be open minded and still attend in weather you'd normally stay inside. The physical and mental benefits are amazing and our rainy sessions have been some of our participant favorites!
What happens if I miss a session?
Any missed sessions that are not canceled by LBBR or The 75 Oaks will be forfeited as the program only runs for 10 weeks so there is no space to make up missed sessions.
Is payment refundable?
Payments are non-refundable.
What animals are at The 75 Oaks?
Goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, bees, cats, & dogs.
How does parking work?
The 75 Oaks is a small family farm therefore parking is limited. We open the gate at the start of the session and everyone pulls in and parks in a row thru the farm store. During the session we close the gate for safety and at the end we open the gate and everyone leaves together at the same time as the next car can't leave until the one before it does.
Can my infant attend?
Yes! Your non-walker under 1 can attend for free with their sibling. You are welcome to bring a stroller - the terrain is not entirely stroller friendly but there are plenty of places to park it and keep it close by.
Can someone else attend with my child?
Yes! We often have nannies, grandparents, other care takers attend with children, we just ask that you notify us in advance and that we have a signed waiver for both you (the parent) and the caretaker.
Do we need to bring anything
We recommend bringing a change of clothes for your kiddo, muddy play is encouraged. Other things you might find beneficial: bug spray, sunscreen, water, snacks,
Can I bring food?
Absolutely! We have blankets and picnic tables you're welcome to have a snack at. We just ask that you don't feed the animals anything not provided by LBBR.
Proper Conduct?
If a participant is not behaving appropriately and does not correct the behavior after warning from any staff on premises, we reserve the right to remove them from the program and their payment will be forfeited. One of our core values is teaching respectful farming practices therefore inappropriate behavior on the farm will not be tolerated.
Do you have a sibling discount?
Yes. 50% off for the second child.
